Sunshine Education Centre is a nurturing and supportive alternative provision specialising in working with children and young people with behavioural needs and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

We are committed to creating a safe, structured, and inclusive environment where every young person feels valued, understood, and supported. Through trauma-informed practices, we recognise the impact that life experiences and emotional challenges can have on behaviour, relationships, and engagement with learning. Our approach focuses on building trust, promoting emotional wellbeing, and helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and positive relationships.

At Sunshine Education Centre, we provide personalised learning and support tailored to the individual needs of each pupil. Alongside academic development, we place a strong focus on behaviour support, emotional regulation, mental health, and personal growth. We aim to help young people re-engage with education, develop important life skills, and achieve positive outcomes both inside and outside of the classroom.

Our qualified and experienced staff team work closely with pupils, families, schools, and external professionals to ensure every child receives the guidance and support they need to succeed.
